    May I ask what brand and model of wheel you are running? I wanted to switch to alloys but didn't think it would be an option. Thanks.

    I had to grind an 8th inch off my wj calipers to fit 15" steel rims with I believe 3.75 backspacing. 5 min with a flap disc on each caliper no issues.

    mj highly modified Brake setup help

    Just finished WJ brakes on my 98xj. Also my first time getting into brake mods. I have the opposite problem: can lock up 33s no problem, but the pedal is soft. Doesn't quite make it to the floor but its close. I will be following this thread and hope to learn a thing or two.

    Bootswerk shift kit for manual trans, NP231, '98 works great for me. going on 4 years now. Some minor adjustment to get it right was required, but that was easy with the threaded linkage.

    WJ swap was the single best modification I've made to the jeep. But, it's expensive, requires fab and lot's of research.
