    Moving to OKC area

Yeah, I need to update my profile. Rockport isn't where I'm from, just where I was at last. Mustang has the small town feel like a small farm town does but with lots of amenities. It's clean and the people are friendly. It has all the things we used to drive 45 minutes for, Lowe's, 4 parts...

    1986 suburban offroad rig.

Good paint scheme. I have the midget indian version. It is also for sale at a proportionately smaller price.

I just moved here as well, I like Mustang. I work on this side of town, so it's easy for me. Mustang has the small town feel I'm used to.

ANY XJ's From Corpus Christi TX?

Sounds good to me, I'm in Fulton. I go to Corpus often, maybe I'll throw them in and you can meet me somewhere. Or maybe I'll make the next local wheeling event. When is the beach clean-up?

ANY XJ's From Corpus Christi TX?

Don't know for sure, but they don't fit an 89. I'd speculate by the shape of the calipers that they are fairly late model.

Sweet. I'll take $75 for the slotted rotors, calipers, lines, and pads. Slightly used, but in great shape. SouthTX has first dibbs, but after that, get in line. If this is too much, I'll entertain offers. Also will trade for anything of value.

Yes Tom, I did get my Jeep on the road again. As far as the brakes, make me an offer and they are yours. Looks like SouthTX has graciously stepped down. Email me at [email protected] and we'll work out the when's where's and how's.

Sorry about the late reply on the brakes, guys. The brakes are for a late model as they don't fit my non-anti-lock 89. Nice brakes tho, starting to get some very light surface rust on the rotors, better get them on a vehicle quick. It appears that southtexas has first dibs, but I don't know...

ANY XJ's From Corpus Christi TX?

Any of you local guys want to buy or barter a set of barely used slotted brake rotors, calipers, and pads? Figured I'd let the local crowd get first dibs before I offered them up and shipped them to the rest of the Texas XJers. I'll trade for parts or anything useful as well. Let me know what...

    Getting the XJ level

Looks very nice. Are you sure you'll want to get that dirty? I had to add 1.5" blocks to the rear of mine today to make it even. I hate blocks but didn't have a choice. It'll buff out I guess.

Thanks for the parts support guys, the new R&P is shipping from Iowa tomorrow. I found an install kit for $60, so the "CHEAP JEEP" tally continues.... Would like to meet up with you guys this weekend, even if for moral support, but the mother-in-law and brother-in-law are coming down to visit...

ANY XJ's From Corpus Christi TX?

Hey everybody... Larry, the tires look tough on the xj, can't wait to get them turning. I would be ready to wheel this weekend, but my ring and pinion that I ordered was not for the reverse cut dana 30, even though the guy assured me it was. To add to the problem, the rear pinion bearing had...

Wanted: Dana 30 axle or R&P, wheels.

Yes, Summit has the best prices, and I like the soft 8s. Maybe in the future. I'm picking up some D-window 15x10s tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. If I've satisfied all the requirements of the thread, how do I delete it? Should I delete it or will it migrate to the bottom?

    1989 xj w/6.5" lift FS

Parting it out will be my last resort. I'll put you in line though. Gears will be in this week and I'll be driving it shortly after. Wheels going on tomorrow by dark.

Wow, that hood is entirely too nice for my ride. Can you scuff it up some? Faux hail damage with a ball peen hammer maybe? I may be interested in the cosmetic after I get the mechanical in line. I'll keep up with you. -G
