Not to high jack but does anyone have info on this type of swap in with a cable speedo.

Look at the TPS it is easy and can help with the power loss.

Check the CPS. My jeep had a similar problem and it turned out to be a easy fix. Just something to think about.

All that being said is there anyone that has a similar experience or setup.

I would love to put in a 241 but to my knowledge there is no way to hook up the speedo cable in the earlier model xjs that has been converted to a 23 spin output shaft.

I had this problem before and it turned out to be the crank postion sensor just change it an easy fix and not that costly.

When i did my 2004 booster/mc from a WJ i just removed the white plastic bushing from the brake peddle and it works great and this was on an 88 XJ by the way hope this helps out.
