I agree with the lower center of gravity... Just did not want to have to cut alot on my fenders and that is why I was thinking about that approach... I do have 1" shackles with this kit also...first thing I did na d first thing to forget... so 1""coils iso. on front will make me about level...
I do have the adjustable trac bar double shear from ironrock also....too many mods to remember....Was thinking about shackle relocation if I used the spacers on the front but unsure of what to do...
My jeep has been built from all parts from them.
1. Radiator
2. HVY Duty tie rod
3. 4.5 rough country full packs
4. H/T SYE with F/S
5. Cat back exhaust
6. extended brake lines
I have decided to finally go with a long arm for my 96. I am going to order the IronRock kit and was wondering what else I might need, if anything to do this?
At this point I have a RC 4.5 full pack, SYE with FS, extended brake lines solid tierod from ironrock and I am running 31's.locked F/R...
I have seen it on here before and someone tried to say they were driving with out it and I just don't see how...Leafs up front yea kool but coils....Scary!!!
What is the use of the bellows? I guess I am just an idiot and if everything is bolted on it won't move will it? It is bolted to the head in more than one place and if it is flexing there you have other major issues!!!!
I'm sorry, I do have the 4.5. In my first post I was just commenting on how the ride is and about DL vibes then someone started talking about how much you really get out of these and I got off the subject....Sorry for wondering off the original post...
I was running 30 at all 4 corners Only running 31's at the time. Now I am running 33/12.5 on 8" rim...I went with GY Wranglers w/silent armor.....I know, no where near as aggressive but they are better in the icy snow that we have here in the North and I have not had the chance to try them in...
Grimus, I am going by what the factory numbers were stated at. From center of the wheel to bottom of the flare is 23 and 23.5.
And I think factory is 17 and 17.5. Am I wrong on these numbers and don't have as much as I am thinking?
My rear shackles are still straight up and down after 4 months...
