My son bought a 96 4 cylinder to rebuild and swap out for his engine with 160K miles. We took off the head and want to take it to a machine shop for rebuilding. What is the price range to rebuild the head? I haven't done it in over 30 years. Are there any issues with rebuilding the heads?

I used a computer CNC milling maching at school for the butterfly.

I bored my 88 throttle body to 60 mm and it helped noticibly throughout the rpm range, especially at higher rpms. My engine is bored over .030 also.

I am doing a similar swap with a 96 2.5 taking a 4.0, and our threads may be helpful to each other.
