CPS.....is my bet. if you buy it at advance auto and it doesn't work, they'll let you return it.

first try unplugging the fan, then replace the fuse. if it doesn't blow. then you most likely have a shorted fan............

you should be able to tap into your wires still. its not difficult to build your own harness, you just need a test light/ multimeter. I did mine without a book on the wiring. but the wiring is available online.........lunghd downloads i think....

got the head off the new xj today, and whollaaa!! no wonder this cylinder only had 30psi! anybody know where i can find a good/cheap motor? i guess i could rebuild this one, but i would rather swap and have a third motor as a spare/stroker.

mine got so bad, i was whackin' it with a maglite everytime i cranked up....... so i bought a used one on ebay for 6 bucks......charges like champ!! gonna get the old one rebuilt at a local alternator shop, maybe they can bump up the amperage!! good luck,

before you buy a new one, check your cables at the starter. loosen them. scrub em with a brush and reattach if this does not fix your problem then look for a new starter. But, i'll warn you AZ starter is low quality. just like earlier post states. "if you don't mind the hassle" i'd make sure...
