    What to do for these axles?

    Hi all, Blair again. I have a buddy with a '68 (?) Waggy. He think that the axles are both 44's with the same drop as my XJ. My question is, the waggy has maual hubs and my XJ is vac op. What do I need to do to do this conversion? Thanx! :repair:

    :farmer: Hi all, Blair again. I have a friend that has a mid to late 70's early 80's FSJ at his place and he's not sure what axles it has. Are they front and rear D44's or what, I'm looking to pick it up to swap axles on my XJ. If there not 44's then what other axles could they be? Thanx.

    D@mn electrical gremlins!!!

    I found the problem in the wire just beyond the clamp, almost solid green inside the sleeve. A little snip, a shot of electical cleaner and a new clamp and the gremlin has left. (For now!!!) :repair:

    Checked voltage while idling, between 14.0 and 14.5, with the engine off 12.0 and 12.5. It seems to drain while driving, what the heck could that be?

    Hi all, Blair here. I have an 89 XJ Laredo with the 4.0 and the B/A 10 5 speed. My question is, Until a couple days ago, my voltage gauge read around 14, now it starts there, but slowly works it's way down to just above 9 and hold there. I don't know if it's a battery or my alt? Any ideas...
