4.0’s are notorious for cooking the coil mounted to the engine block. When they go, no codes, just won’t crank. You might be in the leading edge of its death. Also, how old is your catalytic converter? You could be seeing enough bad stuff come through that the O2 sensor is cutting the fuel back...

Spent the last year building a 88' Saab 900 Turbo for gas friendly, fun as hell DD. Just got to Jeep projects. Over the past few weekends... Swapped an 80k mile motor into Old Blue(97 XJ sport). Replaced some wiring under the hood.... It has A/C again. woohoo!!! Replaced the fan resistor. Now...

I want to put a steering wheel in my 97 cherokee that has audio and phone controls. Does anyone know of a list of cars that I can chose to swap from? Does anyone know of a reference some where that list steering wheel mount sizes?

Finally got my second XJ back up and running... The turdy five blew up a while back. Scored a d44 from another naxja member. Did the ZJ disk conversion and installed it this weekend. Wife is stoked that I finally got the d44 off the back porch....
