There is a CARB sticker located on the shield that is supposed to block heat. It reads CARB D-269-18 and is the original K&N sticker.

If I'm picturing it right, it is the oil pressure lamp. You are probably low on oil which explains why it is coming on when you go around corners as the oil is moving away from the pump.

Sorry about the long delay, but the transfer case came out of my 1992 Cherokee. It is a 23 spline unit that came off of an AW-4 Tansmission.
