Is there a priest in the house?

I'd pull the battery and let it sit overnight. Capacitors can hold charges for a very long time. You don't have an aftermarket amp, do you?

Is there a priest in the house?

You have extra accessories in there. Are you sure it's not a capacitor in one of them that is holding a charge that is grounding to the chassis somewhere?

    So, did things work out?

    Balance Beads

Yeah, you're supposed to either pour them in free before mounting or remove the valve core and pour them in after mounting. Either way, they need to be out of the bag to work or you'll get vibes.

What long arm suspension would you buy with 2k?

Depends on your tire width and backspacing too. I couldn't turn out of my driveway without cutting lugs up front with my 33x12.50's on 3.75" backspaced wheels and 4.5" lift. Banged on the pinch seam inside the wheel well and all was good for normal driving until I trimmed the fenders so I could...

    Balance Beads

Except there is a pretty significant difference. Your's, if taken the way you wrote it, implies that it's not possible, even in an emergency. If this question is being asked, knowledge of how they work and why slime inside the tire would negate the performance of the beads will not be known so...

    Balance Beads

Semis use them with good results. I use them on my motorcycle and they easily increased my tire life by 50% and I don't need to pay someone to balance my wheels.

91 4wd Auto in Virginia Beach

Sorry, I guess I didn't find all the threads and close them. It's sold with the rest of the jeep.

    Any AV nerds in SoCal?

Short answer, Unlikely, but it depends on the TV manufacturer and it sounds like your's won't support external volume control (and most won't). Your best bet is to get a soundbar so you can remotely change the volume and get better audio particularly around dialog compared to tv speakers. They...

Broke down in the back country while hunting (HELP)

I don't know the year of your XJ, but if it really is your fuel pump, you should check the ballast resistor on the front driver's side quarter panel inside area. Remove wires from either side of it and wire them together using a jumper if they aren't long enough to connect on their own.

    Yet another heat issue

Most also remove the useless heater control valve so water is flowing through the heater core all the time like in the newer models.

    I have no solution!

It's a really good idea to replace brake parts in pairs as well. If one side is bad, the other side usually isn't far behind. New rotors should also always get new pads. Do your calipers have grooves in them where the pads ears slide in and out? Did you grease the slides when you put the new...

    Transmission grab

Mine always did that when I was in 4l but never any other time. I would drain some ATF and see if it's burned and replace if it is.

    Yet another heat issue

I never had any issues with my 195* duralast tstat. If you're having issues with keeping the tstat in place when mounting the housing, you can apply a thin layer of rtv to the tstat and mount it on the inset part of the housing or the head (I forget which side has that right now). Just be...
