best way to bleed brakes have someone sit in the driver seat and pump the pedel till it's firm... then hold pedel down while the other person opens and closec the bleeder valve then pump up again do until all air is out.. same on other brakes...

While coming home from work the otherday it felt like the tranny was slipping RPM's went to about 4000 - 6000. so I tapped the accelirator but got no response.. so I pulled over to the side killed the xj let it set and restarted it. drove fine for about 10 -15 min...
new plugs , new wires, cap & rotor, pickup coil in didtributor, coil, CPS, even tried wifes '96 CPU on it still no spark. engine turns over strong and I can smell fuel.

well it's not the crank position senser thats $80 outa my pocket and it's staying on the jeep took me 3 hrs to put it on.. and not the pickup coil in the distributor.... I checked all the fuses all good..... anyone know what it might...
don't feel so bad it took me 2 months to get my 3 1/2 in BB installed I could only work on it about an hour a day.. but it installed and rides great except for the engine stalling.... only paid $300.00 for the XJ
I have oil change, sparkplugs & wires, new rotor, trans fluid, t-case fluid, front and rearend fluids, checked fuel pressure and even run on a computer from snapon and computer shows all clear no codes....
ok I found out it is a NP231 it is from another XJ tested it by putting a concrete block infront of thr front driver wheel and put it in nutral and found the nutral spot on the t-case then whent forward where 2WD should be it didn't climb the block it just pushed it out of the way.. Then I...
