the statesmen below is without any fact or knowledge. and is just repeated websaid nonsense. all longs arms on the market are in use by thousands. and they all work. buy in your budget and go wheeling. its not that complicated. i run the R/C long arms for years and it works great. i know a few...
I do not have any testing data, I have run the factory fans x2 for several years no issue 98% ( one year 90 plus temps at black mountain we got up to 220 but no higher) (4.0) so they do a great job and you can get them at the junk yard.( they do pull alot of amps so wire heavy). now as of...
If you have a lift kit, and non adjustable arms..you will rotate the axle and that will cause the camber to change ,this is very common on lifted Jeeps. could just be that?
been running electric fans since 2005... they rock
I have not had any issues with over heating or have i ever run into anyone in person on the trails that has in oh 10 years.(so the number of people with this issue must be a small percent) I ran two factory electric fans for over 8 years with no...
oops... ha ha.. you know alot of Jeepers have at some point got so excited we took our rig out with a weak link and paid the price.... it happens, good to see you are able to fix your rig on the spot.. good stuff bro.
Re: Rough Country 6.5" long arm - first impressio
Nice write up..I have this system bought first run . And I like to see a honest first hand review. I think you are exactly right right you say you can't do better for the money. And yes I can get my front drive shaft out no problems. I like this...
Really? show were any suspension design configurations shows that the difference in link type alone determines the rate of the "unloading' there is no such information, what you calling "unloading" is not due to the difference of 3 link and radius/y-link
. that is why pro rock crawlers use...
one thing you never find in these threads is any actual technical fact that any specific lift kit will cause this so called (unloading) you can have what is called wheel recession, is when the front end of your vehicle is forced upward when the front tires contact a ledge or rock or...
I looked around and that seems to be a good price as they go up to and over 5k. so I would say that looks to be in the lowest end of the retail price of strokers. make sure to tell them it will be a carb engine they may use different cam.
you may have to drive the broken piece out front the other side like said above you can take the cross shaft out of the carrier. (there is no retaining circlip on the end of the shaft)
as for shafts you can use scrap yard replacements.
I would say the stroker, or stock 4.0 will fit with minimal if any changes. but you will need to get the wiring and all related electronics to run any fuel injected engine, so that would be the work to integrate say a XJ wiring harness into a scout. as for V8 IHC had their own V8 engines and as...
you are running a thermostat correct? running no stat can cause to fast of water flow and cause bad heat transfer. only bring this up because your using a hi flow pump. if the radiator is good (not clogged) and engine is clear (no air pockets or clogged passages) you should re check air flow..a...
