Runs strong, but is from PA so has rust. Rockers are shot, was gonna do 2x6 tube and go, needs floor pan work. Actually a nice looking jeep aside from that. Have a few days off and will be taking care of some of the needs but not keeping it. Expecting to deploy again so clearing out the projects...

How bad is the reverse, putting a 88 motor trans and transfer into a 96? No concern for emissions just need it to run.

craigslist buy.... got under there today and pulled it a little was able to get a finger in there and the nut and washer were completely off. Gonna try and get to a friends tomorrow night to fix it

it slid out pretty far and fluid went everywhere not sure if it will come all the way out, and the nut looked tight I actually didn't mess with the nut pre install

I just put in a np231 I picked up it all felt good but once installed I had a small leak at the front yoke. looked at it and the yoke slides out just like the rear. Whats the fix??

Not helpful but don't waste the money on the 35 gear set, get any other rear end and use it. The 35 will work but it is a time bomb

Mine is very busted up 242(case damage) I bought a second a 231 but it was 23 spline I need a 231 21 spline. The jeep is my daily driver due to being assigned to San Antonio right now. Any Help would be great may take another 242 for a while if its cheap enough

Need a np231 21 spline shaft main shaft or a 21 spline t case. I have my 242 that leaks BAD and a 23 spline 231 but need a 21 spline 231. I am stationed in san antonio and headed back to dallas thia weekend. Please let me know if you got this and really let me know if your on the way.
