CAN bus to CCD bus Protocol Translator(Chrysler PCM Simulator)

Thanks, do you have any updated code that increments DIST_INCR_ID? What IDE you are using? Having to workaround some issues with #include. Also wanted to let you know I tried using an Intersil CDP68HC68S1E chip instead of the CAN transceiver and it worked as well! CJ

CAN bus to CCD bus Protocol Translator(Chrysler PCM Simulator)

Wanted to share some info that might be useful for others working on the power train wiring. Eliminating the factory ECU does present some other challenges with regard to integrating a different control module with the rest of the vehicle. Hope you don't mind this in your thread Alexia! I...

CAN bus to CCD bus Protocol Translator(Chrysler PCM Simulator)

Awesome! Just awesome, really impressive and thanks for sharing! I've been working on an LSx swap into my 01 XJ and this is exactly what I want to do. Only difference is I am using the GM red/blue 411 PCM which uses J1850 instead of CAN. I originally planned to drive stock Instrument Cluster by...

    Projext "V8 XJ" Build

The EVAP system on the LS is actually pretty similar to the factory Jeep emissions setup. The fuel tank is vented into the charcoal canister which is connected to the purge valve on the intake manifold and a fresh air intake vent, both of which the computer operates. I connected the LS purge...

Started on My LS1/5.7 swap, into My 01 XJ

I'm doing the same thing and it's how the factory system is wired/controlled (with power in series through the pressure switches.) Just replace the Jeep PCM in the circuit with a relay and you can use all the factory wiring and AC clutch relay in the fuse box. Use C22 (Pin 22 in C3) to trigger...

Started on My LS1/5.7 swap, into My 01 XJ

I haven't looked at the 96 schematics but that's probably a ground into the switch, not power. The switch then grounds the signal wire into the PCM and varies the resistance to signal which button is being pressed. Hth.

Started on My LS1/5.7 swap, into My 01 XJ

I'd be surprised if the Factory Jeep PCM will drive the factory vacuum cruise module after all the engine wiring/sensors removed. GM Gen III PCMs are straight forward to integrate cruise with drive-by-wire controls. They just need the cruise signals and clutch/brake switches. I believe that...
