there are no threads to screw a normal shifter knob onto,looks like it was press fit or the plastic shifter knob that was on it was molded to it somehow. And there are too many parts scattered all over to glue it back together.

i was driving around today,went to shift into second gear,and the shifter knob came off in my hand!! The white plastic material that was inside the shifter is all broke to hell and the shifter won't go back on. I guess i need a new one. But where to get one? and how does it fit back on? looks...

don't quote me on this,but I don't think there were any changes in the heads in 97 from the earlier years. you would probably have to use the distributor and sensors from the 93 because the computers are different. I think the exhaust/intake manifold should bolt up just fine.

yeah,all we got out of that big storm was about 2 inches of rain which turned to snow,and we got maybe 2 inches which has melted now and everything is a muddy mess and i have a swimming pool in my back yard. We have missed all the big snows this year,i bet we haven't got 12 inches of snow total...

my 2 door 92 had drain holes close to the bolts,but they weren't close enough that I could get a socket and extension on,so I just cut the holes a little bigger and got to the nuts that way. my floor is pretty rusty anyhow,so it wasn't real hard to cut the floor.

summit racing also sells them and they had free shipping when i bought mine last year,might check into that.
