My 96' D35 is going up, and i pulled a 92' 8.25 out of a junkyard, only to find out it lacks abs. Is there anyway i make take parts from my 35 and put them on the 8.25 to make it work? Or are there any other options other than a new rear end?
I have a 96 4.0 with 242 TC and dana 35 rear. What are my options for bolt on with no mods for my jeep? My rear now bit the dust and i want to upgrade if possible while replacing, because my local scrapyard is 65$ for any rear axle.
I got everything back together, I drive it arount and park on a towl in my garage, an hour later theres a 3 drips of pure black oil, like the stuff in bearing bolts, im hoping its just old oil. But I may as well change the oil filter adapter in the near future.
Ok, I have the oil pan partially out, the front end is as low as possible... any ideas? Also, will taking the bracket on all the bearings drop the crank?
