Has nothing to do with MPG. XJ vibes are amplified in the cab so if you can eliminate spinning the front drive shaft you will eliminate noise in the cab. Also easy to service wheel bearings.

Mine makes a winning sound after being driven a lot at high speed but it stops when it cools down. I think it’s the transmission overheating.

I have the stock LP Dana 30 and Ford 8.8 rear. Was thinking of moving to an HP Dana 30 up front but have been debating what to do as loaded it probably weighs over 5,000LBS. Not much increase in strength with the 30 so probably need to upgrade to a beefed up 44. I may be able to shed about...

Had my jeep weighed on the scales at the dump. It was unloaded and came in at 4,800lbs. I had it weighed twice and both times it was the same. What do your XJ’s weigh? Do you think 4,800 is to much? I think I need to go on a diet.

I don’t think I have found a tire that is good at everything. I am leaning towards Mickey Thompson or Interco next.

That’s a bummer. Do they check the 02 sensors when they do a smog check? I know the shop I go to did go under it once to look around and asked a bunch of ??. How could they prove that the vehicle came with pre cats? I guess you could be taking a chance but I wouldn’t think they could prove...

I have a Tupy head on my 00 XJ no pre cats from the factory it’s an Arizona vehicle. No check engine lights and passes Smog. Stock ECU. Couldn’t you just weld two sensor bungs in line and eliminate the pre cats?

Does anyone make Aluminum fender flares or Fenders? I need some flares but don’t want to ad weight. I am considering fiberglass fenders but I could crack them on rocks l mostly wheel Tahoe National Forest.

Two top ones on my list are TNT and JCR. I really liked the JCR Mauler but they are two months out I don’t think I can wait that long.
