I went to disconnect the switch and try to chase the problem and found that the factory fog lights must have been added at the dealer. Since their is a plug coming frome the main wiring which is not connected and a plug to the switch which is connected and is wired by itself. I traced the wire...
I would think that if it was the switch I wouldn't work at all. The switch is turning them on and off but the green light on the switch stays on regardless. Also It doesn't mater if the ignition or headlights are on or off. I'm very confused by that.
I'm going to disconnect the switch tonight...
This weekend My wife took her 2000 XJ to the car wash. when she came home the driving lights were on with out the head lights and they wouldn't turn off. I figured something got wet so I disconnected the battery and let it sit to see it the problem resolved itself. The next day I hooked the...
I Removed and cleaned all ends of the battery cables and replaced them. I seems to have solved the problem. Although I'm going on a trip later and I'll take my other truck it's a 6.0L but what the hell gas prices are comming down.
Thanks for the help! I'll let you know if I happens again.

:new:My wife is ready to retire her 2000 XJ sport, 4.0L, Auto, Selecttrack for something new. I'm planning on keeping it as a daily driver and ocasional trail rig. I want to keep it safe for DD but also want to make it fun off road.
Here's what I'm thinking:
3.5" lift (who's is best?)
31x10.5...
No more no bus. All the wires are in their original sheath and I don't see any damage to it but it's very difficult to trace because of doing it on my back and where it is.
Now that I've removed the CPS where do I get one on a Holiday Weekend:tears:? Is it an Dealer Item or would an Autoparts...
