I have 1997 s-10 I am having trouble with. The Transmission keeps getting low on fluid but I can find no leaks. When I checked the transfer case fluid level it poured out of the FILL hole like crazy (maybe a quart and a half). It sounds to me like the transmission is losing fluid into the...
I have been working on a '87 Ford Ranger 2.0 4 cylinder for a friend. It had a bad head gasket leak and was spitting rad fluid all over. I found a broken head bolt where the gasket had been leaking. For some reason it just sheard in half above the thread area. What is the normal fix for...
Your the man! Rex Gilbert has them!
I appreciate the help. I am rather new in the area and didn't know where to even start looking for a place like that.
Thanks again!

I bet it's more like 5% rather than 20% doing it themselves!
When I first started working on my own vehicle I kept saying over and over again; "I can't believe I used to pay someone to do this for me!" especially when doing things like brakes.

Man, what a scam! The cheapest starter is about $65. So inother words I can pay someone else $65 to put $10 of parts in a starter for me?! I am in the wrong business. I'm really suprised I have not heard anyone else complain about this before.
Damn the man!

Okay now i am in the same boat with my MJ. My rear return line (bottom on the front distribution block/proportion vavle) was rusted and split wide open and I didn't even notice braking difference. Although, that is how I purchased the truck anyway! So now what I plan to do is bypass all that...
You really shouldn't make comments like that especially since you've only made 60 something posts around here. You obviously don't know your way around these forums because if you did you would know that Eagle is a master when it comes to XJ/MJ's! He has probably responded to 75% of my...
My MJ needs front fenders in the worst way since it looks like someone took a baseball bat to them. I am going to the local pick and pull that has a couple of MJ's and was wondering how to remove them. I see three or four Torx nuts/bolts holding it on around by the door and underneath. Do I...
