Spent an entire morning running around from parts stores to dealerships trying to find an axle-end track bar bushing in polyurethane that would fit the stock sized bolt I got from the dealer (bolt=$4, nut=$16).

Would anyone know about swapping in a D35 drive shaft onto my C 8.25 now that it has a 3 inch lift in back? This would be strictly for the extra length. I don't have vibration (yet) but the shaft is pulled out pretty far. :dunno:
Just curious why you are not considering moving up to a 16 inch rim since you suggest you will get new rims anyway. You can get a little narrower in the metric sizes. (Okay, go ahead tell me I'm wrong, everybody.)

So is it true that the liner makes a difference? This is for a DD that gets me into some back country, often weighed down with cargo, but it also trucks the family around so I desperately do not want it to be a harsh ride.
