I am looking at picking up a set of Rugged Ridge headers to install when I do my 99+ IM swap, as well as a few other upgrades in that area. I have helped two members in my area install this header on their XJ's and there was a noticable difference in performance, and install wasn't at all a PITA..
This build is looking awesome... I was messing with a friend of mine about doing this with his 2JZ that I had sitting at my house, since he was being slow bringing his 280Z over for the swap.... Def. subscribing to this build... can't wait to see the first startup!!
It unfortunately is too far out of my price range right now.... for the initial purchase... but after doing more research and thinking I am just going to stick with the XJ... more security for my work gear without always having to think about throwing it into a locked cage or box or...
I don't have any experience in this specific setup... but I do have enough experience in talking with the IRO folks when I have had questions with installation or even their products, and have always gotten a very quick answer on any emails or phone messages I have left them... and their...
Would love to have that, have thought about finding myself a manche and doing a similar build myself over time... but I would def. talk him down, I mean if you can actually get him to reply back, be like hey... got $6K cash, and see what he says... I mean if he is really wanting to get rid of...
My CEL just illuminated tonight for no apparent reason.... so going to go and stop in @ my local stealership to see if they might hook this recall up on my 98, as I have been hearing some rattling and smelling some awesome smells from my exhaust lately...
I will give this a try... it is the crumbling apart issue I am trying to avoid, that is why I was wondering if there was a trick to it... I will have to remove my valve cover shortly to replace the valve cover gasket anyways... but can't afford it just yet.... but do want to replace the broken...
I am trying to find out if anyone knows how to go about removing the CCV or whatever the hell the rear most elbow on the valve cover is that connects to the vacuum line on the intake. I accidently broke it the other day trying to remove the broke oil fill cap I inherited when I purchased my...
I was going to say my guage sometimes goes above normal position, but then usually settles back down... not the usual fluctuation either, I know what that looks like... I have been running FRAM on all of my vehicles for years, as has my family with absolutely no issues thus far.... I haven't...

I wish I had a bike to enjoy... maybe one day.... For now I will just continue to gather parts up for my XJ build.... well XJ upgrade I guess... not really going to be a build just a lift, rims/tires.... for now anyways...
I would do the coffee table idea...
I have been looking at the Corbeau Moab seats with their XJ complete slider/bracket sets.... Not as cheap as $170 a piece, but at least I know they will look good, feel good and be worth the money...
