    dude just make your own. it looks to me like entry level fab work worth 50 bucks at the metal store and a few hours in the garage. good practice, and I'll bet the metal was flat and bent as he fastened it. have fun!!!!

    try heating the case and using a slide hammer from harbor frieght for like 15 bucks. I haven't done this job since I haven't picked up my xj yet but that's what I'd do

    Frame Crack

    there are kits out there to stregthen the frame in that area. stop drill the crack to prevent further cracking then weld it, and look for a kit or make one yourself. I think I saw one on pirate but can't remember. check the FAQ section.

    Building a roof basket

    I would bolt a sheet of aluminum to the floor just get the gauge you think is right and be sure to isolate the dissimilar metals to prevent galvanic corrosion. even a thin sheet would add serious strength.
