    30/31in tires

I'm looking for a set of 30s or maybe even 31s for my brother's Cherokee. If anyone has a set of 30s ( maybe some GSAs from a TJ before lift/tires, something like that) in NC please shoot me an email at [email protected]. Thanks.

    Torque Converter rattle?

Ha, yeah I figured that out right after I posted. All of the bolts on the flywheel were very tight and it was not cracked yet I still get the rattling, could this be the actual torque converter going bad? When I put a wrench on the flywheel bolts to make sure they were tight, as I tried to...

    Torque Converter rattle?

I just removed the inspection plate, but I really have no idea what I'm looking at. Are the bolts on the flywheel ( that the starter engages) the ones that come loose and create the rattle? What should I be looking for?

    Torque Converter rattle?

Hmm, sounds kinda like what mine is doing right now. Does yours only rattle when you're completely stopped and in drive then go away as soon as you start driving again?

    yj brake lines

Yep, I did the same thing, the passenger side lower hard line was hitting my tire the way it came from NAPA so I bent it out of the way.

    What to do b4 Tellico.....

    1. Get promoted to server at work 2. Give CRS thousands of dollars to make 35s work correctly 3. Make sure James can get a big diesel truck to pull the trailer so our jeeps can be trailered up there ( why? because we know generous people with big trucks and trailers) 4. If all else fails, give...

All right...Now Who all is coming???

There is a chance I might be making the trip to Tellico but I won't know for a few more days. I know I've already missed the registration deadline so I won't get a t-shirt and stuff, but if I can get my Jeep built up and make it there will there still be room at Crawfords ( for primitive...

Rough running XJ...went home on the flatbed

UPDATE!!! After doing some reading on CPS related symptoms I thought this might be the problem. I read something about if the CPS was shot it would only effect the engine when warm. Anyway, now that the Jeep has been sitting in my driveway for 2 hours and has totally cooled down, I went to start...

Rough running XJ...went home on the flatbed

I drove to my highschool, Jeep ran perfectly and 30mins later I went to go back home. I started the jeep and it fired, however it ran horribly, almost like a carb'd engine running like crap. The RPMs bounced from 0-250 very erradically at idle, and pushing on the gas did not change anything (...

    Long arms only?

Carolina Rock Shop in Charlotte, NC will sell you just the longarm set up. Theirs is a radius arm design using RE uppers and includes a beefy crossmember to mount it all up. Price is excellent too. I will be ordering mine shortly. Contact Andy, Jeff, or Will at 704-525-5109 for pricing.

    Rustys Sucks

Shoot, I'll stick up for Rustys. Ordered a set of bumpstops last week, they arrived 3 days later ( told me it would be 5 days). I also ordered some shackles from them a couple years ago and also received them within a couple days. Rustys seems to be hit or miss with their shipping, but so far...

what else for a teraflex4" longarm kit?

The correct lines to order if you want longer front brake lines are from a 95 YJ. I bought these for my Jeep, they are several inches longer than stock XJ lines. Edit: you can also remount the hardline a few inches further down on the unibody, just unscrew, redrill and screw the mount in the new...

6" lift LP30. what do i need up front?

Please explain. After the lift the front axle will be farther away from the transfer case, why would he need a shorter front shaft?

    Shim install questions??

    1. Yes, you have to remove the ubolts. No you don't have to take the ds off. 2. Use c-clamps to hold the leafs in place before you unbolt the ubolts. 3. yes This is a very easy process. I needed to wallow out the holes in my leafs with a drill a little to get the new center pins to fit in...
