98 XJ--Wife goes to leave work and wont crank over selenoid clattering. Co- worker jumps it and once started ,revs to 3,000 rpm and stays there. Told her to shut it off and wait for me.I jump it and starts normal and idle rpm is fine. I drive it home and intermittently the volt meter pegs over...

what are the vibratons like if you have them after you lift? Is it very noticeable, do you feel it in the steering wheel in your butt,what speeds, noises?

I've seen it posted 17 1/2 front and 17 rear for stock new

I just put new wheels on and I get a lot of brake dust in just a few days .What pads are recomended?

soarhead25,what shocks are you using and what size tires.I am about to order the same front and rear springs as you did with the N35and N36 shocks,no extra spacers or dif. shackles.

The manual suggests going to synthetic for towing applications.That is what i am going to do ,most synthics do not need the additive for limited slip.

I just was looking at mine ,it has a tag saying "use limmited slip lube".

My 98 elecric cooling fan comes on imediately upon cold start up and continuously cycles on off about every 5 to 10 seconds.I dont think this is right.I just bought this and dont know whats normal.What controls the fan? Thanks
