thanks know we are getting some where if we all put our heads together i think it can be done cheaper than 600 but this gives me hope if its going to cost that much to do i will start looking for a used 5 speed unless you are saying 600 for everything including t-case that not 2 bad

I was wondering if it possible to bolt a t-case to a 2wd ax5 or ax15 trans i have searched and im not coming up with enough info after reading the specs on both trans. I have a 91 2wd mj with a 5speed and would like to convert it to 4wd if it just takes changing the input gear on a 231 that...

thats what i was afraid of i hate to let the xj slipp away for 500 bucks no title and the motor is toast but every thing else is good

I'm thinking about buying a 93 xj for a donor but it has a auto trans and i want to keep the 5 speed in the mj will this be a problem

yeah it has 4.0 in it

yeah 9mpg would suck im getting 22 now i know that lift and tire will make it go down but i cant dd at 9mpg

most of my wheelin will be trails and a little mud no rock climbing
