Nice, have to see it at ride height.
When are you going to shock tune it? Brian usually does Glamis for newyears and sometimes goes to JV the week after. I like the dunes for tuning.
With out the spare tire out back cant get mine to float on whoops like it used to.
A better plan is to finish it ASAP, start racing every local event you can go to for seat time, monthly, and rebuild the car before KOH with fresh parts.
Short 3-4 mile race courses like dritriot allow you to do the same laps over and over. You get more comfortable driving the same terrain...
Build your own adjustable links to lower or raise normal ride height.

Off-road 2 is only allowed up to 25MPH, then it auto lowers to ride height but you can fool it with adjustable links so normal...
I wish we did the 10in front/ 8in rear not the 6in front/8in rear. The 6/8in combo does not look bad but I think we will need to re-shape the fronts once the new coilovers go in for 7in up travel with little 33s. Joel got it off jack stands last night on the air bumps and with spring break this...
I live in the Arizona Desert, we hit 110F in the summer . My 17 years of experience with Xjs in a desert is they overheat. My old XJ and now my Son's MJ were always at the limit of their cooling capacity. New radiators and better fans helped but it was always an issue.
I would build a 2nd...
A big floor jack and an engine hoist should do it. I loaded the old crossedup Cherokee buggy with no axles on my trailer and unloaded it into steves garage. Two engine hoists would make it more stable. Used the floor jack like a dolly.
Not all bump cans mount the same way, some are clamping and some are not. ADS bumps are 2.125 not 2in.
Buy your bumps, and cans then build the mounts around it.
Nice I was just gonna say we installed the champion in my sons MJ last week and it leaks right at the 90degree joint on the filler neck. He had to trim quite a bit to make it fit. The whole top cross member cover lip had to be trimmed off and he cut a clearance hole in the wheel well to fit the...
No, Bypasses are better, you have progressive valving at different shaft heights. Get at least a 3 tube or its a waist of money. Id recommend a parallel C1 and C2 tube placement so you get double bleed until you hit C2. This is harder to tune but will be more compliant in the chop which is...
Was that you we saw at Glamis yesterday? Dirt bike with two RZRs sitting on top of a dune by olds. Cool to see two stockish cherokees on street tires bowling the big dunes.
