Here's another one, appears to have a low profile.

Blue Sea has several sizes and types (top and side entry) of "Cable Clams" for through roof mounting wires and cables.
This is a cable clam side entry: https://www.bluesea.com/products/1007100/Side_Entry_CableClam_with_Stainless_Steel_Dress_Cap

I've been running Zerex G-05 without any problems. It lasts a bit longer than the Green, designed for modern engines but also works good with the XJ's cooling system using a cast iron block and brass / metal radiator...
I'm curious how much block grinding was required for your install. I remember reading somewhere some years XJ require more grinding than others?
Here are some pics to help determine the difference between a small frame Denso (stock oe fit for Denso alts on the XJ) and the large frame Densos...
I read somewhere each OE side rail is rate 150 or 200 lbs.
The OE rack is rated at 150 lbs. maximum.
Most aftermarkets are rate at around ~150 lbs. A few are rated at 250 lbs.
One aftermarket roof rack for the XJ that comes with their own side rails is rated 400 lbs on-road and 150 lbs...
You're correct about the installation on the radiator. The better location is closer to the front grill, away from the radiator, which allows for better air flow.
I may when I have the time do a re-installation away from the radiator and monitor for any differences in engine temperatures...
My B&M, approx. 11" x 5" once installed doesn't appear to be too large. I'm not certain how much air flow blockage it creates. Engine temperatures dropped by one to two degrees after installation. I also installed a manual over-ride switch for the aux. fan, which helps to lower both engine and...
There are people who have installed oil coolers under the front bumper.

I have a 11" x 5-3/4" x 1-1/2" 14,500 btu B&M flat aluminium plate design installed on the radiator in front of the aux. fan. The plates are angled and wide enough apart air...
Here's another video that may be useful and provide some more information about rebuilding Denso alternators.

I guess I was repeating and clarifying myself as in an earlier post I'd mentioned "nut cracker or a nut remover" A "nut remover" is also referred to as a "bolt extractor" and visa versa.
Anyway a nut cracker or nut remover will work if there's enough nut exposed to grip. A nut cracker...
This site has parts and repair kits.
http://www.aspwholesale.com/
There are several methods to search for parts and/or repair kit.
If you have the OEM or Denso part number from your alternator you can do a search for parts and repair kits.
Other methods include, make model year vehicle and...
I have one of these bolt extractor kits. Haven't ever used with a lug nut. In decades of owning a vehicle I've never had a lug not that couldn't be removed with a lug nut or star wrench, but I guess it could happen, something hits the lug and it becomes damaged, etc.
There is another type...
When I replaced my OEM with a HD CSF I removed any brackets from the OEM over to the HD CSF. Your new radiator appears to have three different permanent bolt connections, not quite the same as the old radiator. I would try fitting one of the bolt connections to determine if one of them lines...
Hmm, a small broken plastic guide and the entire regulator doesn't work. That's quite an engineering accomplishment.
I'm wondering if Jeep ever did have spare parts for the 4 and 2 door regulators other than perhaps the regulator motor.
This type of problem I've come across many times. Years...
