lockers! what ya running and why?

My xj is a daily driver that I use to do light towing and 4 wheel drive roads usually to get to places to do stuff... Defenitly more road than off road and no mudding... I went eaton true track in a Chrysler 8.25 on the rear with an ox on the front hp Dana 30 with 33s, the true track is nearly...

    JCR Adventure Roof Rack

I've been looking at this thing and it's all bolt together... There's nothing terribly difficult to fabric here just fabbing the 4 sides and adding mounts... The aluminum cross rails just bolt in which I'm not a huge fan of but they say it will hold 200lbs which is more than most. I keep...

1987 jeep Cherokee ac, what is this valve in the suction tube

It does, and I agree, typically they equal out when it's not running so I don't know what the point is... I was thinking I would just remove it but It is also the way the union joint seals... For some reason they didn't just use an o ring on the connection. Maybe it's an over pressure release...

1987 jeep Cherokee ac, what is this valve in the suction tube

I'm reassembling my ac system after having some hoses rebuilt and putting in a 134a compatible compressor. What is this valve in the suction tube? The hose is the low pressure side of the evaporator going into the top of the receiver/dryer. It's the coupler that makes the connection...

    Bolt on 5x5 hubs

Ah, right, they aren't factory take offs, they are procomp series 89 (17x9 / 5x5 / -6mm / 4.75) wheels. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

    Bolt on 5x5 hubs

Right, these are 5x5, I just want to eliminate the spacers on the front. I'll do the rear too just to make it easier but the front is the question. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

    Bolt on 5x5 hubs

Right, the knuckle is thicker on the xj so when swapping to the wj knuckle you have to add a spacer. Does that mean the hub is the same size? Maybe I can just go to the store with a caliper and check the hubs... Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

    Bolt on 5x5 hubs

I just watched a video on the swap... Can I just use a wj hub? It looks like it's the same bolt pattern and size. I see there is a spacer needed for the swap but is that because the hub is different or because the wj knuckle is not as deep as the xj? Thanks guys! Sent from my SM-N975U1...

    Bolt on 5x5 hubs

I guess that's an option. I already did the big break upgrade and I don't know if I can keep them if I do that but I'll do some research on it. The thing stoops like a stubborn muel with these brakes and I don't want to lose that. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

    Bolt on 5x5 hubs

I am swapping my rear axles on my xj and have the Yukon double drilled axles for my 8.25. I'm currently running 5x5 wheels with a spacer/adapter to go from 4.5x5 to 5x5. I would like to get rid of the spacers. Does anyone know of a way to get hubs for the front that are 5x5 on a Dana 30...
