that's not what I meant. I know they won't thread into eachother. I ordered threaded tube adapters for there rod ends. just worried about if it will spin for adjustment.
I am doing new qa1 Rod ends, using my rugged ridge steering setup. The tre's that come with the kit are 7/8 -18, the new qa1 ends are 7\8 -14 will I have problems adjusting the drag link if I use one of each on either end?
First of all thanks for the compliment. I use write ups for 90% of my upgrades, just because i'm a do-it-yourselfer and realize the importance of a thurough explanation. Expecially with pics!
As for my durango box from Everdrive I have not had any problems. They are actually rebuilt boxes from...
I did end up talking to Josh at IRO and he assured me that he has a guy running 4 of them stacked for a 1" space. So I went ahead and ordered them, they should be here first part of the week. As far as welding them goes, I guess it would be okay for a trail rig but not for a street vehicle...
I searched for quite a while yesterday and didn't come up with anything over .75" that you could buy as one piece. It would be nice to find something like that though.

Okay I did search and can't really seem to come up with anything. I finally got my jeep back from getting my 8.8 swap and gears installed. Now all I need to do is order shocks and I would like to add a spacer between my TW driveshaft and the flange yoke on the 8.8. The pinyon is a little shorter...
I live in GJ also. I'm 27yrs old and have a Wife, 4yr old daughter, and a bun in the oven. I run a 99 xj with RE LA 4.88s and 33's. I Manage/Assist at Clifton Lube Center on F rd in Clifton.
Okay the reason I started this topic is because I have a friend who is from the "muscle car" era. He used to be the president of our local Mopar club back in the day. Anyways he now has a 95 XJ 8.25 and D30. He wants to swap those out for somthing more substantial. He also has a 96 ram with the...
Has anyone thought about swapping the Dodge 8.75 axle into the rear of the xj? From what I understand they come from the 70's to early 80's cars and trucks. Just want opinons on what ideas come to mind.
