big woody said what i meant. if it wasnt for my add my posts might make more sense. by the way i am a welder and when your a welder you go for more bang for the buck.
im not sayin that they dont work but puting a frame on a cherokee wouldnt make sense. that would be like puting a frame on a frame theres no point. then you have two stiff parts mounted together. all that gets is stress. tieing all the stress points together would be more practicle than just...
i would think a frame useless since an xj doesnt have flex pionts in the body(that why back around the hatch cracks out). i would think that if you made body as rigid as you could that would be better. a big x with some cross members would be a lot better like a [X] in the middle that would be...
i am coming up on a rebuild and i would like to know what the price difference is for a stroker vs a normal rebuild would be in cost. i figure 450 for a normal rebuild kit plus machine work. how much for a stroker? i was just wondering cuz i might just put a vortec 6 if its to outrageous.

the front sway bar is a must. i can take turns alot better with it than without. i took a corner once at 105 and it handled like it was on rails. that same turn a honda civic can only go 85. now that it is lifted i took the rear sway off and just run the front, believe it or not the rear sway...
what ever you do dont use gloss rattle can. pain in the rear!! i tried it on a truck and it looks awful. use a semi gloss of flat color. the gloss would be ok for small areas like numbers of graphics. i think that tribal camo would be pretty cool.
