Oh yeah, you were wondernig about amp, etc placement. I built a sub box for 1 12" sub. I made it shallow but extends the whole width behind the back seat (for appearnace reasons). So the box is only about 12" deep but the width of the jeep inside and is as tall as the back seat so it's flush...
Hello,
Just wondering why all you guys are drilling.....you don't need to. Run the power cable along the bottom of the doors, underneath the trim/molding on the passenger side. When you get to the kick panel you will see the cluster of wires that goes into your door for the power...
Don't know if you have adj. uppers or not but if you do, I would go ahead and spend the extra money on adj. lowers. That way you for sure can get the axle centered "forward and aft". Also, if you ever decide to go higher, like 6" you definitely will have no problems. I am basically running...
Guys,
I am looking at installing some rocker protection for the lower 4" of the 4 doors and behind the rear tires like the kit on simplyoffroad.com. I was wondering if any of you had any problems with installing body armor and it being a place to harbor rust or attract it. I live in chicago...

Adjustable lower control arms
I ADDED:
SYE
1.5" shackles
custom driveline
4 pro comp shocks
If you are trying to cut corners and save...
Guys,
Anyone ever seen any of these? I like the round holes of the soft 8's but also like the simulated beadlock look. There doesn't seem to be a combo of both. Every sim. beadlock I have seen has the "D" shape cutouts. I would like to find the round cutouts of the soft 8 and be simulated...
Cassio,
Don't know if this will help you out but I have a RE 5.5" lift on my 01 XJ with 32" tires and here is what I needed to make it a safe daily driver:
Complete RE 5.5 kit with substitutions such as:
lower adj. control arms (I don't trust having pre-fabbed lengths, shit never lines up the...
