Ten minute install, even in the rain. The struts pretty much lift the hood on their own after you unhook it. I'm very pleased! - askingxforxit

I don't have this set, but have this from another manufacture. Super easy install, one of my favorite non-suspension mods.

Will you be offering any more of these? I have the RedLine struts on one of my XJs. I'd like to try these on the other.

Guess not. I'll give it a few more days waiting for an answer on these, and try to contact him through his eBay account. If not, I'll get another set of the RedLine Tuning struts.

will be purchasing one of these in the near future had one on my old jeep

I finally reached him, and learned that he is no longer making these. Pity, because they look like something I would want to try.

I have the Redline Tuning struts on one of my XJs, and I highly recommend them.

I was hoping to pick this kit up as well.

It's unfortunate that Tony decided to stop selling it.

That said, I did a bit of googling and discovered the components of this kit are readily available on Amazon for an even lower price.

A pair of brackets is listed for $9 with free shipping, so that's $18 for all four brackets.

If my guess is correct, the struts from a jeep liberty hood look like they should work and you can get a set of those for less than $15

The only thing left to buy are the screws and you should find those at any hardware store.

The total for the struts and brackets I linked to is right around $35

The only thing left to figure out is the proper mounting positions of all the parts, but I think I can figure that out.

Hope this is helpful.
