I confess I went to look at new cherokees.

I had one as a rental car in Detroit yesterday. It was the Latitude package. At 6'6" I liked the headroom, but the windshield was raked so that I still had to hunch. Overall it felt way smaller than my '01. However, I did enjoy the power and the ride.

I don't really have a problem with fiat. Honestly what has jeep produced that has been exciting in the last decade? They made some neat prototypes but nothing beyond that.

Just an update- We had two more Cherokee's, with the 9 speeds get new transmissions this week.

Meanwhile, still loving my 15 Dart. FCA is doing a great job on some cars, a terrible job on others.

What model years, is it both '14 and '15, or just the '14 models?

I'll be honest, I'm happy with my '12 200 as well, 34k on it and just swapped the factory 225/50TR18 GY LS2s for a brand new set of 235/50ZR18 BFG Sport Comp 2 A/S tires.......fantastic tire so far, wish I could get them in 235/75R15 too:laugh3:

14 and 15. KL, and the new 200.

We just got two Renegades at my work too... I hope they have less issues.

Seeing as the XJ's sucked as 4 cylinders, why the hell would you buy something that heavy with only a 4 cylinder?!

at least they were reliable.

How? Are you drafting?

When my renix XJ was stock-ish. I would average 20+ highway.
Overall driving (mostly city)with my MJ (32,s F8.8 3.73s, 5 spd) I average 20ish. Have not taken it on a long road trip so do not know what my avg highway is.

I saw a woman in a trailhawk trying to complete the Tower Arch trail in Moab this past weekend. She ended up making it to the harder section and then making it imitate a flipped turtle. She used way to much skinny pedal and not enough patience. I tried telling her to relax and guide her on lines but she tried running me over for my efforts. I will post pics after I go through my 5500 pics my wife took in 10 days. On a good note my wife did drive three trails while we were there and she did awesome. She wanted a new Mustang, now she wants a Jeep.

So a little update from my dealership-
Mopar did a ton of changes with the software in the 9 speed.
Since I last posted, we haven't seen any 9 speed failures. There was that snap ring issue also... seems to be resolved.

That's a really good thing, because Cherokee, 200, Renegade and soon the Dart will all use the 9 speed, and having all those issues was not a good thing.
