Ha yeah the super 8 is garbage.

I should have plenty of time to get some test sessions done on my rig to dial out bugs before this run.

From the last time we were at moonrock in may, it was very windy in the early evening. if you plan on camping there, plan on major wind blockage, like tarps and something to block wind around camp

Some people camp close to the rocks on the East (or NE?) side to use the rocks there as a wind block. Gotta get right up close to the rocks but there are a couple good places to do that there that are out of the way of where the wheeling lines are.

Turns out that my finals week is the week directly after this run, rather than 2 weeks after like I originally thought.

Looks like I won't be able to make it. Super freaking bummed, but there's always next year.

you go to school like a baby. I mean really, finals are the next week , its not like they are on saturday . you should be cleansing your mental palate by getting away from school for the entire weekend and wheeling and getting your mental state in a happy demeanor man. I used to always do whatever felt right around finals time. Sometimes studying wont help an already over worked mind youll just start second guessing yourself, plus undergrad is easy as cake duderino. one time in grad school i stayed up all night drinking and completely missed a final hte next morning because I was sleeping. Still got an A- in the class, he let me re-take it the next day at 8am ...itll probably just work out in your favor if you go wheeling instead. plus you can cram all night sunday, monday tues, etc..
