The AWB is a direct affront to the 2nd, the point of the 2nd is to assure that the people are as well armed as the Gov( some thing we let them take a loooong time ago) so that we can overthrow a gov that tries to overstep its bounds just like the one we have now. Our founders never intended for us to have a "standing Army" in fact they were terrified of the prospect of it! ITS NOT A MATTER OF NEED ITS A MATTER OF MY RIGHTS which I WILL NOT GIVE UP TO ANY MAN

I sure like this thread. I have been on this forum since 2006, but haven't been around posting much. My name is Scott and it is a pleasure to meet all of the fine patriots in this thread. Makes me proud that good people do still exist. Just when I start to feel things are getting pretty dim around is, it's comments like those in this thread that simply make you feel like there just might still be hope!

Yeah, that would be the perfect picture right there. I'm actually hoping an old Army buddy of mine comes through for me and sells me one of his M1's. I've never shot one but would love to, and would love having one in the slowly growing collection.

Man, thats too bad. Looks like you guys were right about him being "political" about it rather than patriotic. Makes me wonder than what the hell he meant by "actively Enforce"? ****in politics. At least he is voicing his opinion, but lost the respect I was feeling for the Oregon and larimer county Sheriff. Maybe we ought to write a message to those supporting their stance so they feel the support in their opinion and don't waiver.
