THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

A stick, my radiator, and my fan just had a threesome. The radiator lost

Time to find my way back to southbridge so I can grab the van and trailer

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

glad to hear it, bob! thanks for the business!

come to think of it, most accents annoy me. Unless you're a cute southern bell, any noticable accent other than some foreign scary cool ones are annoying. california yuppy, thick southern, thick boston, new york, jersey, minnesota (just funny), etc, all pretty annoying to listen to. it's not hard to enunciate your words clearly...most accents are just lazy. although I do enjoy people from the deep woods of Maine.

i like british and australian accents. (they sound the same to me)

i dislike southern redneck hillbilly accents when they speak at like 30% the speed of a normal person.

and Adam can't properly say "huge" he says "yuge" instead.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

18gauge sheetmetal should be good enough for a floor right? It'll be on a 1x1x1/8 subframe, seat and seat belt mounts will have a piece of like 1/8" to strengthen the mounts up.

I honestly thought about building a subframe this time around, but then I realized I'll never remove any of my drivetrain from above.

There's no way I can pick up a NP205 from the interior in the space it occupies.

I'll never pull the trans from above.

The only benefit is being able to get to the bolts on top.

But I plan on running tube from the dash down to the rear of the seats, welding the floor on the sides of it, and having a removeable top panel to access those bolts.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I'm going to be cutting up my old driveshafts mainly for the tubing.

Anyone need 1310 CVs or stub/slip?

I have 3 1310 CVs, one of them is a high angle from Tom Woods. The other two I believe have new u-joints (at least one set does).

Stock XJ stub/slip is tight with a new u-joint.

I want my beef slip back

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Starter solenoid took a shit yesterday, the o2 sensor plug pulled apart when I unplugged it to test it, and my gas tank is filled with major mudbutt. I have $15 in my bank account. On the plus side somebody might be junking a cherokee with us soon, same year as mine. If that doesn't have enough parts to make mine work again, i'll just whoop mine in the garbage too

Very good points. I never plan to remove anything from above, although is was wicked easy to put the StaK in from above with my engine hoist sticking in thru the door. I at least want the whole top section to come off to get to the mounting bolts and also because of my triple shifters and relocated tranny shifter. Having no floor there now made me realize how much easier it is to work on junk in there.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

After seeing the pictures of the link in the "retro jeeps" OT thread, I really want to do an FC unimog.

People wonder why kids these days are stupid, I found this in the 6th-8th grade Art room.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So I was talking to my friend from work about whatever and we got on the topic of my Jeep being registered.

I said I only keep it registered so I can have liability insurance on it, but he said if it's not inspected then you basically aren't covered by insurance.

So, in that respect, why should I even keep it registered anymore? It's not like it's streetable or anything. And you don't need plates where we go wheeling.
