truck broken into. gps stolen... 29 palms sucks

my friends f250 and focus were outside my house along with someone else that lives in the area. both had windows smashed out of them. they popped the trunk in the focus pulled everything out of it. 2 flak jackets and 3 kevlars(helmets) were laying on the ground... stereo deck was still in the focus. hes pretty sure nothing of real value was stolen.

my buddies f250, driver window smashed and my brand new magellan gps was stolen but they lest the charger and the mount...

just wish i would have caught these idiots, and glad they didnt try breaking into the house.
cause therye wouldve been a 12 gauge slug waitin for them

damn tweakers in 29 palms. i hate this place... ugly ass prostitutes, tweakers everywhere

ok end rant...

but anyadvice on what i should do?
police were already contact and a report was filed

May not be applicable in your case, but canvassing local pawn shops is one idea.
 
yea Craig cds36 has experience with those too...haha (referring to the one ho with boots)

look in pawn shops, look on craiglist, ebay, and see if you notice anything similar
 
thats cool they left the flaks and kevlars....

insurance time.

i had my fair share of crime in the 29.

not by telling them but by showing them.

some tweak thought itd be cool to dig through the crap in my old xj.....while i was underneath working on the tcase.


i had a decent sized 1/2 drive and a 30mm socket that i used to bludgeon him with until he stopped moving.

then the mp's were like, "wasnt that a little excessive?"

meh what do cops know about excessive force anyways.
 
well most of the mps are augments anyways man, especially out here!

I am gonna end up getting a viper alarm, those things are awesome. It will beep and tell you when anything gets opened on your vehicle and what it is, ie trunk, door whatever.

Some even have a range of 1 mile!

Its worth it if you have a decent stereo, tools, gps, whatever.

im not in 801.
im at some duplexes behind the mcdonalds/jack in the box.
i really wish i could have caught these idiots...
who takes a bunch of change, all my buddies business cards, all his vehicle info(registration insurance, etc..) and a bunch of cd's.
but leaves all of our issued gear...

i think im gonna check some pawn shops in vucca valley and just let them know maybe that my gps was stolen and ill keep an eye on craigslist as well.
