Trying to decide on wheels..what would you do? Pics

Below are some (not so good) but updated pics of my 99Xj project. Currently im running 285/75/16 MT/Rs on 16x7 Jeep Ultra Star wheels with 1.25" wheel spacers. there is nothing wrong with this set up but im thinking about switching to black steel "d" window wheels instead. I like the look of both styles....but i can't decide....what do you guys think would look better??

i like these too, i just think the steel wheels would be a little better suited to the rocks - these are already starting to take a beating.
 
If that be the case, you might want to go with the steelies then.

At 40 bucks a pop, can't go wrong.

I've always enjoyed mine.

I like what you have. I have had both steel and aluminum and prefer the aluminum over the steel for most things.
 
yeah man, those wheels look great on your rig already.

as it has been said, everyone has black 'd's

even me.

so just keep the nice look you have there.

guess ill just keep these for now...i just like the look of the black wheels for some reason. its a disease.....always changing things

nah, you wouldnt do somthing like that...

...whered they go?

p.s. nice comparison photos - its cool to see the same angle winter vs spring
 
Sold the rails and getting some AJ Supers soon
 
i actually think im going to try and sell the tire/wheel set up im currently running and then go a different route after thinking about it - depending on what i can get out of my tires and wheels - thanks for the help.

Why not just paint the ones you have black? I painted my '99 Limited alloy wheels flat black; it came out nicely enought that some of my friends thought I had them powdercoated.
