AW-4 Solenoid Source??

Have you considered the local junkyard? Just because the tranny is bad, does not mean the solenoids are. Just a thought.
 
I'm not to excited about used parts. But if new are to expensive I may look into that. Junkyards here in Calif are very expensive I've found compared to other places. For instance a front driveshaft is $125 here and $25 in many other states. I think the reason is that land is so expensive.

Well, if that doesn't work out for you, then I have a set that came out of my wifes' old XJ tranny that I would be more than happy to part with. Her old tranny died from sitting still for about 6 years, not burning up/ overheating.
