my rockers are rusted, rotted, dented and just plain shity lookin. i had planned on just fabin up some custom rock rails to cover them, but now ive decided to just cut them out and replace them with like some 2x4 boxin or something. what i need is some pics of ur XJ without the rockers on and if possible deminsions so i can make the rails and stuff ahead of time and knock all this work out in a weekend. also, if i cut my rockers out now, does it matter if i drive around without them? (no wheelin dah but will it weaken anything?) i plan on cuttin them just in front of the pinch and just under the role under the door.
