center pin size

im about to build a bastard pack using dodge dakota leaf springs and i was wondering if anyone knows the size of the center pin il need to use, i kno its bigger than the xj center pin but it would make my life a lot easier if i just knew the size to get and where u guys got it from ... thanks in advance

Check with your local spring shop or commercial truck shop. They'll have everything you need and should be the cheapest place. You can get your U-bolts there as well. Not positive but I think you may need a 3/8" center pin.

Stock is 5/16",most after market springs are 3/8".It doesnt really matter since you will be stuck using stock unless you want to try and drill out the stock leaves!

A good drill bit and take your time = drilling out is no problem. Just don't overheat the bit.
