installing 8.8

finding the pinion angle... well can someone help me please not sure on how to find it and too sure how to measure it and where to measure from. stupid question yes. but would like to weld it in tonight gonna rain tommorow..

You left out all the important info.If you have a CV shaft then piont the pinion about 1-2* degrees down from the driveshaft.If you run a 2 joint shaft then point the pinion down about 1-2* down from the transfer case output shaft.

ok, what??? i have not yet ordered the new SYE and drive shaft cause it says i need the angle from the rear diff. not too sure what to do here...
