Magical ballots

Does anyone else find it odd that 140k ballots are suddenly "found" at 3am on election night, they are ALL for the same candidate and it is likely that that state will determine the winner??

Oh no, that's really odd. When will there be a clean election result?

Re: Magical ballots

Do you know what Thomas Edison's first invention was?

It was device to allow Congressional votes to be cast in honest simplicity without allowing peers/lobbyists to sway the decisions of the Congress-critters.

Do you know what became of it?

Nothing.

No one in government would buy it. The response was as follows:
Quote:
Edison's colleague took it to the nation's capital, showcasing it to members of Congress in Washington, D.C. to display its viability. The response? The chairman of the committee responsible for rubber-stamping the machine for government use (or adversely chucking it) scoffed, "if there is any invention on earth that we don't want down here, that is it."
For Thomas Edison the lesson was to not invent something until he knew he had a market for it.

For the rest of us the lesson is that those who know what's best for us have not had much use for honesty for a long, long time. Corruption is their stock and trade.

Odd? Not at all.

Suspicious? Absolutely.
