Crackshaft position sensor

Hello Jeepers I have a code to replace my crackshaft position sensor and can't find a dealer to replace it. Has anyone bought one from rockauto.com are they good for a replacement sensor

As long as it's a good proprietary brand, it doesn't matter where it comes from - &, in fairness to RA, they usually offer a choice.

What year is your XJ? NAPA is supposed to have good ones as well.

Hope you are flexible. It's in a really difficult to reach place.

Tape the screw into the socket when installing. You really don't want to drop it in the hole.

I keep reading that, yet don't remember it being a problem. Mind you, I did have practise removing the one from the parts car on which access was probably easier.
