Are the hinges the same on the pre 96 cherokee and a 98 cherokee?

typically the hinges are different, but, i have pre97 hinges on my 97 as well. just made goin doorless easier so im thankful

yeah i've seen quite a few 97s with the older ones, however its not hard to go doorless on the ones with newer hinges, did it on my 99 no problem.

that is what I am thinking of doing, but wouldn't mind messing around with a spare set of hinges, just in case.
