Snow Cable Survey

I have an e-locker D30 and an open c8.25 and 1 pair off tire snow cables, what is the best place for them for up to axle deep fire road use ?

Both on front, both on rear, one on each or leave in the garage and go boating instead ?

What would you do............survey says ?

Get a second set and chain up all four.

Right or wrong back in the day on our 4X4's if you were using one set of chains we ran them up front.
I think it worked better. Was it smart? Not clue. Never had a problems because of it though.

I saw that, but I figured if there was gas money for the boat then a second set of chains deserved consideration.

I've always chained up the front. Engine weight is up there plus I like the extra traction for steering. I have had all 4 chained up for hunting. It was tank.
