I have a 89 xj laredo, and i just recently bought thor quarter panel guards. Im planning on running a Single Stop turn tail and a reverse light. I wired in a tail light converter, one of the ones that is supposed to work unlike the hopkins universal crap.
Everything is wired accordingly but when i hit the brakes, nothing lights up, i wired the stock 3 wire socket and the bulb in it lights up, but the led's do not.
I read something about having to wire in a relay but havent found anything that still has working pictures/diagrams.
When i wiggle the bulb around in the socket, the led brakelight turns on and off but can't get them to stay on the right way.
