I have to change my gearbox this weekend. Is there anything that I sould know? Looks like it should come aparts pretty easy. Maybe run into pitman arm problems? thanks

By mentioning pitman arm, I assume you mean your steering box? Depending on age and cleanliness of the vehicle, be prepared to fight with removing the pitman arm, the hydraulic lines and/or the mounting bolts. Heat and penetrant are useful.

make sure it is made from steel. I have one (borrowed from work) and I have pulled many a pitman arm without any heat or penetrant. I got ahold of this after breaking 4 of the free tools from autozone.
