Isn't that the entrance to J Bull trial?
Freakin tweakers. How hard is it to contain a little campfire, seriously people.

Also, the buzz worms are out in force this season. Awesome table fare, especially the big ones.

No, John Bull's Gate Keeper (east side of 3N10) is north of Polique and east of Coxey. For the most part you still have Holcomb Valley between either one of those trails. The mid point of John Bull (view points) over look the high desert and Lucerne Valley are closer, but still far. I guess in a fire sense it is relatively close as the crow flies but the valley is vast but there is a lot of fuel (trees)! Driving wise, from Polique, it's a good 20 minutes at a good rate of speed from Polique and Holcomb Trail 3N16 & to the gate keeper. So basically for you O.C. guys it's like So. Irvine to Mission Viejo, relatively speaking! Rattlers, haven't seen any but harder to find at the higher elevation, that's not to say they are not out there!
