Can anyone tell me what other years a heater box out of a 1990 will fit. I was thinking 86 to 96

my napa parts computer lists the same part number for the heater core for all years of the XJ, so I would assume the HVAC box around it would be the same for any year XJ that matches your dash. any year through 96 *should* work just fine. I can't give you a 100% yes answer though.
